New Life Bible Training Center (NLBTC)

New Life Bible Training Center (NLBTC) exists to educate, train and equip Nepalese Missionaries before they are sent out. Upon completion, students have a solid background in the Bible as well as areas such as music, computer, and other skills needed by church plant missionaries. Students of NLBTC come from across Nepal and it is our hope and prayer that these students will become the feet of the Gospel to the unreached areas of Nepal and thus fulfill our vision of planting churches in all 75 districts.

Why NLBTC

Around 80% of Nepalese are Hindu with Buddhists making up the next largest religious group. Christian are less than two percent of Nepal's population. Most Christian lack background knowledge that is usually passed through the generation. They are unfamiliar with the concept of a worldview-not because they don't have one, but because they have never heard the idea that faith should impact actions in every part of life.

The Nepalese churches are growing rapidly and vibrantly. As with many places in the developing world, though, there is little in terms of follow up, mature discipleship and on. Less then one percent of the pastors have any formal training and few have even had informal training. When Rev. Krishna pariyar saw the churches growing and the church planting moving vibrantly God inspired him to start the Bible Training Center.

At NLBTC people can receive the training of Bible practically and theologically. In addition, when our orphans finish High School they will complete the Bible training before returning to their villages. Many of these children will return to villages where there is no church and few other students will become the feet of the Gospel to the unreached areas of Nepal after this training and thus fulfill our vision of planting churches in all 75 districts. The harvest is plentiful but we must train the workers in the Gospel before sending them out.
